Watchable Wildlife Boardwalk at Bass Lake
The Watchable Wildlife Boardwalk around the southern edge of Bass Lake. The boardwalk and its viewing platforms and Bird Blind are ADA accessible and afford a peaceful escape from the activity along the Clear Creek trail. The Boardwalk is easily accessed from the Youngfield trailhead just off the berm between Bass Lake and West Lake.

The Parks and Recreation Department received grant funding for the project from Great Outdoors Colorado Grant in the amount of $107,295; Jefferson County Open Space in the amount of $90,000; and the Division of Wildlife in the amount of $8,000 for a planning grant.
